Given the current economic conditions and market volatility, is it reasonable to think the Fed can achieve their mandate. Should the mandate be changed ? 2. Pick a Chair…Paul Volcker/Alan Greenspan/Ben Bernanke. Pick one or two significant Fed actions under one of the aforementioned Fed Chairs and critique the actions relative to then market and economic conditions and how their policy fares today. You are only choosing one individual and one or two significant actions under their chairmanship. 3. Discuss the implications of the new policy on Interest on Reserves of Depository Institutions at the Fed. This topic is most difficult as it is current and articles and reviews are more difficult to find. But it is current and I look favorably on those brave enough to take this topic on. Paper is to be 5 to 7 pages with appropriate citations. Please list all reference materials. I expect professional and academic resources will be used. Graphs and Charts may be used. This is to be well researched and well written. I accept only the final paper.
